Improvement Standards
Public Facilities Improvement Standards are the minimum standards for construction of public improvements. They protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. The Standards may also apply to rights-of-way and easements.
The Standards guide the construction of:
- Streets, bikeways, and alleys
- Traffic signals
- Grading and site access
- Drainage, sewage, and treatment facilities
- Water distribution and treatment systems
They also set guidelines for all private work involving drainage, grading, trees, etc.
