Beermans Plaza at Christmas.

Downtown is the heart of the city. This is where Lincoln's roots were first planted and the foundations for the future were laid. Downtown is where neighbors meet and go to celebrate, as well as conduct day-to-day business affairs.

It's a great place to meet friends, old and new, and pass the time of day. In Downtown Lincoln, there are no strangers, just friendly people with welcoming smiles.

The center of activity is Beerman Plaza-the Town Square and home to the annual Holiday tree lighting ceremony, concerts in the plaza and a variety of other annual activities.
