Turkey Trot
Welcome to the 9th annual Huffin' for the Stuffin' Turkey Trot presented by the City of Lincoln Recreation Department.
Our 5K run is LIVE with professional times as we continue our festive engagement with families and community. There is a .17 mile Donut Dash for children 4 to 7 years old to take part in.
This event is a FUN RUN and meant for community engagement & family FUN! There will be 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finisher awards as well as general finisher award for participants who sign up before the deadline. The proceeds from our run helps to support the City of Lincoln Recreations Scholarship Fund which helps offer scholarships (financial aid) to cover fees for our recreation programs to families in need.

Registration is now open thru November 23rd 2026. Please register by November 1st to receive a shirt and finisher award!
We do order extra shirts, they will be on a first come first served basis after the deadline.
Race Schedule
Thursday, November 26th 7:45 am arrival
Race Day
Plan to arrive no later than 7:45 am in order to park and arrive at the starting area for announcements. The first announcements start promptly at 8:00 am.
Refreshments provided for all registered participants following the race.
All 5K participants receive a unisex 50/50 cotton blend race shirt. Late registrants are not guaranteed choice of shirt or medal.

Tuesday, November 24th & Wednesday, November 25th 11 am to 6 pm.
Please plan to attend one of the Pickup days or have someone collect your shirt for you. We will be accepting late registrations at Pick up until sold out; however, please register early to guarantee your shirt and finisher award! IF YOU DID NOT GET A SHIRT OR ARE REGISTERED FOR THE DONUT DASH ONLY, YOU DO NOT NEED to COME TO THE PICK UP DATES. The pick-up dates are mainly for shirt and bib pick up.
*Refund Policy: All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable and are considered a donation to our recreation department (without purchase of race insurance)*
