Western Placer Unified School District (WPUSD)

WPUSD includes, five (5) school sites with Transitional Kindergarten (TK), eight (8) K-5 elementary schools, two (2) middle schools for grades 6-8, two (2) comprehensive senior high schools for grades 9-12, and a continuation high school. WPUSD also provides Alternative Education through Independent Study for grades K-12.

John Adams Academy is a tuition free charter school offering a unique American Classical Leadership Education by developing servant leaders at their TK-12 Lincoln school site.

Horizon Charter Schools

Horizon Charter Schools is tuition free and offers home schooling, independent study, learning centers, Montessori, virtual learning and enrichment courses and has several sites throughout Lincoln.

Lincoln Christian Academy

Lincoln Christian Academy offers a tuition-based preschool through 8th grade curriculum. They focus on raising servant leaders through Christian education.

The Lincoln Public Library offers adult education and family literacy programs at no cost.

Sierra College

 Sierra College is a community college offering over 120 degrees with several campuses in the area along with distance learning options.
