Construction on the next phase of improvements at Jimenez Park began on April 8th. The aerial images below show grading progress made for the new soccer field during the first week of work.
A portion of the parking lot will continue to be closed through May (see graphic above). Access to the park will not be impacted.
This phase of the project includes construction of a lighted soccer field, minor concrete work for curbs and sidewalks, pocket picnic trellis work, and parking lot paving that will extend the existing Groveland Lane entrance to the southern limits of the park.
There will be a full parking lot closure during the summer months (June-September) to accommodate the parking lot upgrades.
