Public Outreach
The Lincoln Fire Department is committed to building strong connections with the community we serve. Through tours, ride-alongs, school presentations, and participation in local events, we strive to share who we are and what we do while promoting safety and preparedness.
Each year, our firefighters host memorable traditions such as the annual Santa Tour and the Turkey Drive, which has supported local families for more than a decade. These efforts, along with community programs and events, reflect our dedication to being more than first responders. We are partners, neighbors, and an active part of the City of Lincoln.

Community Emergency Response Team
The Lincoln Fire Department is prepared to handle most everyday emergencies. However, during a disaster, the number and scope of incidents can exceed our ability to provide effective emergency services.
Community Events
Annual Turkey Drive
Each year, the Fire Department partners with local organizations to support families during the Thanksgiving season. Firefighters will be collecting frozen turkeys on behalf of the Lincoln Salt Mine and the Placer Food Bank.
Santa Tour
During the holiday season, Santa and Mrs. Claus travel through neighborhoods in Lincoln on a fire engine. Families can also visit the Open House to take photos with Santa and see the fire engines up close.
