Message from the Chief

At Lincoln Fire Department, our mission is simple: protect lives, property, and our community with professionalism and pride. Every member of our team is committed to delivering prompt, skilled, and compassionate service.

As Fire Chief, I understand that achieving this mission depends on supporting the people who make it possible, our firefighters. That means providing strong leadership, ensuring they have access to the best equipment and training, and prioritizing their physical and mental well-being. When our firefighters are prepared, supported, and healthy, they can serve the community with excellence.

Founded in 1896 as a traditional volunteer fire department, Lincoln Fire has grown into a modern, full-service organization. Today, we operate three fire stations with a dedicated team of full-time professionals, responding to more than 6,500 calls for service each year. Our commitment to high standards in training, equipment, and emergency response has earned Lincoln Fire an ISO Class 2 rating, placing us among the nation’s top fire protection agencies and reflecting the quality of service our community can count on.
