Fire Hazard Severity Zone Map

Overview

The new Fire Hazard Severity Zone Maps have been released by the State Fire Marshal. The updated map for the City of Lincoln identifies areas at increased risk for wildfire hazards based on scientific modeling and fire history data. This review period is an opportunity for residents to review the proposed changes, understand potential impacts, and provide feedback.
The review period opens March 5 and closes April 4.

Residents are encouraged to explore the interactive GIS Map developed by the City of Lincoln to see how their property may be affected in addition to watching the presentation from Deputy Chief Anthony Mejia.
