About Vasion Park
Vasion Park, located in the Independence neighborhood, is a 2.3 acre park includes a Net Climber play structure for ages 5-12, basketball court, group BBQ, picnic tables, benches, drinking fountain with bottle filler & dog bowl, and trash receptacles.
Named after Daniel Peter Vasion who was born in raised in Lincoln. He was wounded at least three times during his military service and received multiple recognitions, including the silver star and bronze star.
This park was built and named in recognition of all those Lincoln citizens who have served in the US Army.
