About Eadie Park

Eadie Park, located in the Independence neighborhood, is an approximately 2.18-acre park site that includes a Tot Lot for ages 2-5, shade structure, group BBQ’s, picnic tables, benches, drinking fountain with bottle filler & dog bowl, and trash receptacles.

Named for Steve "Shooter" Eadie, a Lincoln resident and Air Force pilot who was tragically killed in 2016 on a U2 spy plane training mission wile serving our country. 

This park was built and named in recognition of all those Lincoln citizens who have served in the US Air Force.
