Beermann Plaza Construction

The City of Lincoln will begin construction improvements to Beermann Plaza on November 1, with work expected to be completed by December 1. The project includes a new trash enclosure, a dedicated truck-loading zone in the alley between Lincoln Boulevard and F Street, and aesthetic enhancements to the Plaza.

To safely accommodate construction, the alley will be temporarily closed to deliveries for approximately two weeks, but will remain accessible for tenant parking. The City and its contractor will work to minimize disruptions and restore delivery access as quickly as possible. During construction, dumpsters will be temporarily relocated to the parking lot at 570 5th Street.

The City appreciates the patience and understanding of downtown businesses, residents, and visitors as these improvements are completed. Efforts will be made to maintain safe access and minimize impacts throughout the project.
