2025 Urban Water Management Plan/Water Shortage Contingency Plan (UWMP)

The City of Lincoln is updating its 2025 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) and Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP) and is inviting the community to participate in the public review process. These plans guide how the City manages water supply, demand, and conservation efforts, and outline actions during potential water shortages. The draft documents will be available for public review beginning May 12, 2026, online (lincolnca.gov) and in person at City Hall and the Twelve Bridges Library. A public hearing will be held on May 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. during the City Council meeting, where the Council will consider adoption of the plans and receive public input. Community members are encouraged to submit comments by May 26, either in writing to the City of Lincoln, Attn: Chris Nelson, 600 Sixth Street, Lincoln, CA 95648, or by email at chris.nelson@lincolnca.gov, or provide comments during the public hearing.
