Mother Goose on the Loose

Join us for this fast-paced storytime filled with fun activities designed to help babies and toddlers learn and grow. Music, movement, and stories build early literacy, social, and development skills – all while having fun!

Perfect for:

  • Children ages 0-4 and their caregivers.
  • Adults must stay for the program.

Join us:

  • Thursday mornings at 9:30 & 10:30 AM, during regular library hours. This will change during our Summer hours.
  • No MGOL on the last Thursday of the month.
  • Beginning October 6: No reservation required. Pick up your free tickets at the Children's Desk up to 30 minutes before the program starts. Tickets are first-come, first served. 

Family Storytime

Bring the whole family to storytime at the library! This event features themed books, as well as movements and songs. Readers will also share helpful tips to make the most of your storytime at home.

Perfect for:

  • All ages, but especially ages 4-8 and their caregivers.
  • Adults must stay for the program.

Join us:

  • Storytime takes place in the Children's Library on Wednesdays at 3:30 PM.
  • Storytime is 30 minutes long.

Enjoy storytime in your home! When our Family Storytime program is on hiatus, we read a new story each week for you to enjoy.

Family Literacy

Are you a parent, grandparent, or caregiver who needs help with reading and writing? Family Literacy can help you support the children in your life, breaking the cycle of low literacy. Participants also receive age-appropriate books for their home libraries. You must be eligible for our Adult Literacy program to take part. Learn more about our Literacy Services.
