Mayor Paul Joiner
Paul and his family have deep roots in Lincoln and a passion for seeing the community thrive while retaining it's undeniable small-town charm and rich history.
His wife Lisa, never one to be outdone, is a fourth-generation rice farmer, who's family came to Placer County in the late 1800's.
First elected to the City Council in 2008, Paul has served for nearly a decade and a half on the Council where he is currently serving his fourth term as Mayor.
Prior to his time on the City Council, Paul served as a Lincoln Planning Commissioner and a long-time member of the Board of Directors for the Lincoln Police Activities League.
Paul holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and took his graduate studies at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
He's owned and operated his business, Joiner Graphics, since 1985. Creating graphic design solutions, animations and book illustrations for a wide variety of clients from private business entities to governmental agencies (including designing Lincoln's City Seal). He often does pro bono promotional and collateral materials for local not for profits.
