Road Work on Joiner Parkway – September 19 to September 30

The second phase of full-depth reclamation (highlighted in orange on the map) is set to start on September 19 through September 30.  This phase, which involves full-depth reclamation of southbound Joiner Parkway, covers the area stretching from north of the intersection of First Street to south of the intersection of Third Street as part of the Joiner Parkway Pavement Rehabilitation Phase 2 Project.

Anticipated Time

September 19 to September 30 from 7 am to 7 pm.

  • Pedestrian access will be restricted on the west and east sides of Joiner Parkway due to the closure of the existing sidewalk. 
  • Detours will be implemented to accommodate traffic control on the northeast side of Joiner Parkway. 
  • It is strongly advised that parents not pick up their children from the bike lane adjacent to the empty lot by the Community Center during road construction to ensure safety.
