To minimize the spread of COVID-19, the City will be reducing service levels to essential services only. All City Hall offices are closed, except the main customer service counter (which is now open Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM), Development Services, and the Permit Counter which is also open 8AM-5PM. See the Essential Services guide under the News Section for more details.

Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination

Print

The City has an ordinance that prohibits illicit discharges and illegal dumping. An illicit discharge is the discharge of anything into the storm drainage system that is not clean stormwater. Stormwater is water that is generated from a precipitation event. Please report all illicit discharges by calling (916) 434-2450 or by filing a report through our website.

Illegal dumping is also prohibited. The dumping of trash or other discarded items can not only pollute our waterways but also costs money to cleanup and causes our City to look unsightly. Help us by Not Trashing Lincoln.
