Per Lincoln Municipal Code 10.34.170, indoor cultivation of marijuana for personal use is permitted. For an individual to legally grow marijuana in Lincoln, they must apply for and obtain a permit from the Police Department and follow all municipal codes pertaining to marijuana cultivation.
Permits are available in the front lobby of the Lincoln Police Department or online for individuals seeking to legally grow marijuana on their property. The permit follows the requirements stated in the LMC and are valid for two years from the date of approval. There is a $50 fee due at the time the permit is submitted.
