COVID-19 and the Lincoln Public Library

Your Health and Safety Is Our Priority

Based on the recommendations issued by the State of California and Placer County's Public Health officer related to aggressive social distancing to help curtail further spread of COVID-19 in our community, the Lincoln Public Library closed in March 2020.We reopened under a "Grab and Go" model on October 12th, 2020. Please see below for more information. On June 15th, we opened additional seating and modified our mask guidance to meet that of the California Department of Public Heath.

For our interim policies regarding renewals, returns, holds and other account-related inquiries, please visit our Library Closure: Frequently Asked Questions.

Your Library, Reopened.

We are open our regular open hours! All of our seating, computers, and study rooms are open and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For the moment, we will continue to offer limited curbside service for our patrons who are at high risk for COVID-19 complications and feel safer not entering the building.

If you are fully vaccinated, face coverings are optional. Unvaccinated persons, except those who meet the exemption criteria set out by CDPH, must wear a face covering at all times in the Library. By entering the Library without a face covering, you are attesting that you are either vaccinated or have an exemption.
