COVID-19 and the Lincoln Public Library
Your Health and Safety Is Our Priority
Based on the recommendations issued by the State of California and Placer County's Public Health officer related to aggressive social distancing to help curtail further spread of COVID-19 in our community, the Lincoln Public Library is closed in March 2020. We are excited to announce that we will be reopening under a "Grab and Go" model on October 12th. Please see below for more information.
For our interim policies regarding renewals, returns, holds and other account-related inquiries, please visit our Library Closure: Frequently Asked Questions.
"Grab and Go" at the Library, beginning October 12!
We are excited to share that the Lincoln Public Library will be reopening for “Grab and Go” services on Monday, October 12th. “Grab and Go” is designed to let you make short, safe visits to the library to access library materials and use library computers.
Beginning on October 12th, you are welcome to come into the library and browse the collection, check out items, pick up your holds, and make computer reservations. For the moment, we will continue to offer our curbside service for our patrons who are at high risk for COVID-19 complications and feel safer not entering the building.
Please note that face coverings are required at all times within the library, and that the number of patrons allowed in the library at any one time will be limited. Due to capacity limits, we are also requesting all patrons keep their visits to one hour or less. We appreciate your cooperation with our new processes and procedures, which exist to keep everyone safe.
