Development Engineering (the Engineering Division of the Community Development Department) is focused on support of development projects throughout the City, by:
  1. Reviewing and approving all new design and construction improvements for conformance to the City of Lincoln Improvement Standards and Design Criteria.

  2. Reviewing and approving grading plans and permits for all new projects, and

  3. Preparing "Conditions of Approval" for all development projects including grading permit applications, subdivision review, and improvement plan review. 

  4. Reviewing and approving all parcel and subdivision maps, along with all accompanying legal documents.
