Alyssa Silhi, City Councilmember

Alyssa Silhi was elected to the Lincoln City Council in November 2018. She previously served on the city’s Economic Development Committee.

Attracted to its small town charm, quality education, and open spaces Alyssa and her husband moved to Lincoln in 2010 to raise their young family.

Alyssa graduated from the University of California, Davis where she earned a double bachelors degree in English and Communication. She has a decade experience in legislative and government affairs at the state level, with a focus on education, healthcare, public health, public safety, and small business issues. These issues are important to her and she hopes to help Lincoln enhance its access to quality education, public safety levels, and support of local businesses.
As a council member, Alyssa believes her most important role is serving the needs of Lincoln’s citizens. She is humbled at the opportunity to work diligently to serve the public and hopes to bring added value to the Council and community as a strong local and regional partner.
