To minimize the spread of COVID-19, the City will be reducing service levels to essential services only. All City Hall offices are closed, except the main customer service counter (which is now open Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM), Development Services, and the Permit Counter which is also open 8AM-5PM. ADVISORY COMMITTEE OPENINGS

The City of Lincoln currently has no vacancies on advisory committees.  However, we will accept applications and keep them on file if you are interested in serving, see list of advisory committees below as well as link to application.

CITY OF LINCOLN ADVISORY COMMITTEES:

Airport Committee:  no required qualifications but experience with aviation issues is desirable.

Economic Development Committee (EDC):  no required qualifications but experience with attraction and retention of businesses is desirable, only three public members of the EDC shall reside within the city limits of Lincoln

Fiscal & Investment Oversight Committee (FIOC): required qualifications:  be a City resident who shall have demonstrated knowledge, experience, training or education in municipal finance, general accounting practices, budgets and investments.

Library Advisory Board/Committee (LAB/LAC): no required qualifications but experience with library policy and operations is desirable, only four public members of the LAB/LAC shall reside within the city limits of Lincoln

Park & Recreation Committee:  no required qualifications but experience with Park & Recreation programs is desirable, only six public members of the park and recreation advisory committee shall reside within the city limits of Lincoln.

Planning Commission:  no required qualifications but experience with planning and land use  is desirable, all seven public members of the commission shall reside within the city limits of Lincoln.
