1. Foskett Regional Park ADA Parking Lot Improvements
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transitional Plan Update has prioritized the identified barriers for each City-owned facility. These barriers have been identified as the top priority to be corrected to allow for compliant access to all citizens who wish to park and enter Foskett Regional Park.
The proposed project will update a portion of the existing parking facilities at Foskett Regional Park to current ADA standards. The work will consist of: compliant parking signage (tow-way, minimum fine), including proper height placement; compliant parking stall length, width, running slope if feasible, and striping.
Construction will be from January 18th through February 11th, 2022 and will be performed by PBM Construction, Inc. will be the contractor performing the work .
2. CIP 496 Police Department ADA Parking Lot Improvements:
The City of Lincoln awarded a contract to PBM Construction, Inc. to install new traffic striping and ADA compliant facilities such as a concrete parking lot pad and curb ramp. The first day of construction will be January 18, with the working hours from 7 am to 7 pm. The project will take approximately five working days; however, the project might take longer depending on unforeseen conditions such as the weather, Covid-19, shortage of material, and labor.
