In-Person Meetings Return in October

Post Date:10/07/2021 12:12 PM

The City of Lincoln City Council is preparing to head back to City Hall for in-person meetings in early October.  But the new normal will look slightly different from the old one with limited public seating in Council Chambers, a small number of key Staff members in attendance, and continuation of public and Staff participation in discussions remotely, over Zoom, all designed to promote social distancing.  An overflow area in the  First Floor Conference Room of City Hall equipped with a Zoom Room will allow those who want to attend in-person but aren’t able to be seated in Council Chambers the ability to provide live comments to City Council.  Other safety measures such as air filtration, plexiglass on the dais, microphone protectors and masks/hand sanitizers available for all who enter will ensure everyone to feel safe as we transition back to in-person meetings.
