LIBRARY NOTIFICATION CHANGES
With the transition to the new library software in late August 2020, the most accurate notifications about due dates and holds comes directly from the Lincoln Public Library. To ensure you receive these notifications, please make sure to do the following:
1) Log into your account online and check your "Contact Information and Preferences". Please make sure that we have an e-mail for you, and set your notification setting to either e-mail or text message, depending on which you prefer. You can add and update your e-mail and telephone numbers online at any time.
2) If receiving e-mail notifications, please add email@example.com to your trusted senders list to ensure that your notifications are delivered to your inbox.
3) If you have previously used LibraryElf for notifications, please delete your LibraryElf account. LibraryElf has begun sending out inaccurate notices regarding accounts, which can be confusing. We are working on resolving this issue, but the easiest way to ensure you receive accurate information is follow the steps above. If you do continue to use LibraryElf, we recommend checking your account online before coming into the library to pick-up holds or discuss items reported as overdue. Your online account will always have the most accurate information.
