To minimize the spread of COVID-19, the City will be reducing service levels to essential services only. All City Hall offices are closed, except Development Services  and the Permit Counter (temporarily on the first floor) which is open Monday-Friday from 9AM-3PM. At the January 28, 2020 City Council meeting, City Council unanimously voted to change to voting districts and selected District Map 114 as the official district map. At the February 4, 2020 City Council meeting, the City Council unanimously adopted Ordinance 10004B  related to district elections.  Districts 3, 4 and 5 will vote in the upcoming election on November 3, 2020.  The four-year terms for Councilmembers Joiner (district 3), Gilbert (district 4) and Karleskint (district 5) expire on November 3, 2020 and all are eligible for re-election.  Districts 1 and 2 are scheduled to vote on November 8, 2022 but the City will go through the re-districting process again once the 2020 Census has been complete.  Please stay engaged as the City works through the re-districting process in late 2020/early 2021.
