STATE AUDITOR RELEASES CITY AUDIT FINDINGS

In May 2018, the California State Auditor initiated an audit of the City of Lincoln at the request of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee.The scope of the audit included review of finance related policies and procedures, fee and rate setting, and compliance with various laws and regulations.

The final audit report is now posted on the Auditor's website (see Audit Report in the link section below). The City's response to the findings, as well as a Frequently Asked Questions document are also available in the link section below.

The audit findings and recommendations will be presented to City Council on March 26, 2019.

The City of Lincoln is inviting the community to attend one of two Audit Action Update meetings to be held on Thursday, March 28 at 10 AM at City Hall or at 6 PM at the Lincoln Public Library to discuss the City’s action plan in response to the final State Auditor’s Report.

Lincoln City Hall is located at 600 6th Street in Lincoln, and the Lincoln Public Library is located at 485 Twelve Bridges Drive in Lincoln.
