To minimize the spread of COVID-19, the City will be reducing service levels to essential services only. All City Hall offices are closed, except Development Services  and the Permit Counter (temporarily on the first floor) which is open Monday-Friday from 9AM-3PM. January 24th through the 27th, law enforcement agencies throughout California participated in the fourth annual “Operation Reclaim and Rebuild”, aimed at combatting human trafficking and providing services to the victims. Undercover operations were conducted that focused on rescuing victims, arresting their captors, and disrupting the demand for these vulnerable victims. Operation Reclaim and Rebuild was widely successful in its endeavor with 56 adult and minor victims being recovered, 178 males arrested for the charge of Solicitation, and 30 males arrested for pimping. In total, 510 arrests were made.

In support of the statewide effort, the Placer County Special Investigations Unit, a multi-agency task force comprised of state and local agencies, conducted operations in Auburn, Rocklin and Lincoln.
