A single invasive insect known as the Asian citrus psyllid has been found in Roseville, near the Sacramento County border. ACP is a serious little bugger as it can carry a bacterial disease that is fatal to citrus trees. Luckily, the insect did not test positive for bacteria and the disease has not been found in Placer County. But as a precaution the California Department of Food and Agriculture has expanded quarantine area already in place since October 2016, from 118-square-miles to 200-square-miles which includes Lincoln, portions of Rocklin and Granite Bay and significant portion of Roseville.
