FOOD FOR FINES IS BACK

Post Date:04/06/2017 10:03 AM

From April 1st through the 30th, the Lincoln Public Library will waive existing overdue fines in exchange for a donation of non-perishable food items. These items will be donated to the Placer Food Bank, to help local families in need.

  • Only overdue fees on returned items will be waived; lost item charges, damaged item charges, printing, scanning, copying, and faxing fees are not eligible for this program.
  • There is no minimum donation for any given fee; we ask that you donate what you think is fair and can afford.
  • Please do not donate homemade food or food in glass containers.
  • All food must be brought to the front counter in order for fines to be waived. Food placed directly in the barrels, left outside the library, etc will not be credited toward an account.
